Chairlift Rides

The chairlift runs throughout the year and will provide you with an amazing experience as you soar above the waterfalls while admiring the views across Rannoch Moor and towards the Buchaille Etive Mor.

A trip on the chairlift takes you from the valley floor up to 2200ft in around 12minutes. People of all ages can enjoy a trip on the chair and provision can be made for disabled access.

At the top of the chair you can enjoy the stunning views and a visit to one of our viewpoints.

There are 2 viewpoints.

The first is around 150metres from the top of the chair along a gentle track and provides stunning views of the ski area and surrounding countryside. There are picnic tables here so on a lovely day you can enjoy a picnic surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland.

The second viewpoint is on the Summit of Creag Dhubh which is a brisk 3/4mile walk from the top of the chair. The views from here down Glen Etive are absolutely stunning but you will need walking shoes and a bit of energy to reach this viewpoint. The path is rugged and steep in places.

During the peak summer months the Eagles Rest café will be open on the top of the hill serving, teas, coffees and light snacks.

The chairlift also allows access to walkers, climbers, paragliders and other mountain sports without the initial effort of climbing the mountain.

A ride on the chairlift costs £10 for adults and £5 children. Family tickets are £25.
